Tim Waller joined Investcorp in January 2023 as a Director on the Investcorp Private Credit team and a voting member of the Investment Committee. He brings over eleven years of experience in leveraged finance, with more than eight years focused on investing in private credit. Prior to this, Tim spent over four years as a Vice President at Alcentra Group on the U.S. Private Credit team, where he was responsible for originating and underwriting lower-middle-market and middle-market loans across various funds, including Alcentra Capital Corporation, a publicly listed business development company. He joined Alcentra Group from LStar Capital, the credit arm of Lone Star Funds, where he evaluated investment opportunities across the capital structure, focusing on unitranche and second lien loans.

Tim began his career at LStar Capital in 2015 as an Associate, where he conducted fundamental credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management across a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of assets. Prior to that, he was a Senior Analyst at Raymond James in the Recapitalization and Restructuring Group, advising on debt originations as well as stressed and distressed refinancing and sale transactions.
