Dan Gagliardo joined Investcorp in July 2022, from HPS Investment Partners, where he had spent twelve years as a Managing Director and Senior Credit Analyst, focused on investing in leveraged loans. Prior to HPS, he was a Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst covering leveraged loans at Stanfield Capital Partners. He was also a Senior High Yield Research Analyst at Oppenheimer Funds, Inc., and a Corporate Bond Credit Analyst at Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management Inc.

Dan also held the position of Assistant Vice President in GE Capital’s Merchant Banking Group, where he was responsible for structuring, underwriting and documenting leveraged loan transactions, primarily for private equity clients. He began his career in the Investment Banking department of Salomon Brothers Inc.

Dan holds a BA in Business Economics from Brown University and an MBA with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Business Economics from The University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
