Agnel Sugumar is a Portfolio Manager and the Head of Structured Investing at Investcorp Credit Management. Agnel joined Investcorp in 2020 as a Director, and prior to that, he was a Director at LibreMax Capital LLC (“LibreMax”), where he focused on structured credit investments, including investments in CLO tranches, CLO warehouses, and reg-cap/credit risk transfer transactions. Additionally, Agnel ran capital markets for the Trimaran Advisors CLO platform and was involved in various GP investments and strategic initiatives.

Prior to LibreMax, Agnel was an investment professional at J.C. Flowers & Co., where he focused on structured products and private equity investments in the financial services industry. Prior to that, he held investment roles at Mead Park Management and Bridger Commercial Funding.

Agnel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from CUNY Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder.
