- Office inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al-Nahayan
Investcorp, a global provider and manager of alternative investment products, announced that it has opened a new representative office in Abu Dhabi. The office is situated on Sowwah Square which is based in the prestigious Central Business district on Al Maryah Island.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al-Nahayan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development officially inaugurated the new premises on Tuesday evening, April 22nd.
On this occasion, Nemir Kirdar, Investcorp’s Executive Chairman and CEO welcomed His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan to the new Investcorp offices and thanked him for honoring the firm with his presence. Mr. Kirdar also welcomed H.E. Abdulrahman Salim Al-Ateeqi, Chairman of the Board and the Board members of Investcorp as well as distinguished guests from the government, business and media communities and said:

Investcorp’s new office, under the leadership of Mr. Mohammed Sammakia, reaffirms its expansion strategy for the Gulf with more offices planned to support its established presence in Bahrain and Riyadh. Investcorp’s ongoing investment in its Gulf network continues to reinforce its position as the region’s ‘bridge’ between Gulf investors and investment opportunities in the west.
Following the conclusion of official proceedings, Investcorp held its Board meeting in Abu Dhabi on April 23rd.
