Sayoung Jung is currently the Head of M&A at Ageras Group, an Investcorp portfolio company focused on providing B2B accounting and financial SaaS solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe and the US. Prior to joining Ageras, Sayoung was the Head of Deal Finance at AstraZeneca, leading an international transaction finance team supporting the business and corporate development efforts across the company. Sayoung has also been the Chief Commercial Officer for Scapa Healthcare, a business unit of a previously AIM-listed company, Scapa Group plc. She led an international commercial team focused on building the new business pipeline of advanced wound care and consumer health product development and manufacturing projects with leading international medical device, consumer health and pharmaceutical companies.

Sayoung was also Managing Director, Global Corporate Development and Strategy at Scapa Group plc, responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the businesses, supporting investor relations efforts and executing acquisitions to meet inorganic growth targets. Prior to Scapa, Sayoung was an investment banker at Barclays Capital in London and at Lehman Brothers in both New York and London.

Sayoung holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Hunter College in New York City.
