Anshuman Goenka is a Partner at Investcorp, having joined the firm following its acquisition of IDFC Alternatives in 2019. He brings over 25 years of experience in investing, management consulting, and investment banking. Before joining Investcorp, Anshuman served as the Head of Private Equity at IIFL Wealth & Asset Managers, where he managed assets totaling $3 billion. Prior to that, he worked in significant roles in private equity at BanyanTree, Standard Chartered Private Equity, and Baer Capital.

Anshuman began his career in management consulting with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He has held various board positions, including with Canpac, Citykart, Nephroplus, InCred, SK Finance, Miko, Bikaji Foods, and SmartExpress.

He holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge, where he was a Nehru Scholar, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. Anshuman is also a CFA charterholder.
