Jed Johnson is Head of the GP Solutions business at ORIX Corporation USA, overseeing investments in GP-led secondary transactions including fund financing, continuation funds, and GP financing. Mr. Johnson has over 26 years of experience in private equity investments, including control, non-control, structured equity, GP seeding, GP stakes, and GP solutions transactions focusing on the lower middle-market. He joined the firm in 2022 and is based in Dallas.

Prior to joining ORIX USA, Mr. Johnson served as Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager with CH Investment Partners, a $5 billion family office, where he built the firm’s private equity investment strategies to approximately $1.5 billion of AUM. Before joining CH Investment Partners, Mr. Johnson was a Managing Director with Parallel Investment Partners, a Dallas-based private equity firm, where he executed over 20 private equity acquisition, restructuring, financing, and exit transactions involving lower middle-market companies. Prior to joining Parallel, he worked at Summit Partners, a leading global private equity firm, where he invested in owner-operated growth companies in the technology sector. Mr. Johnson began his career in finance with Robertson Stephens, an emerging growth investment bank.

Mr. Johnson earned an AB in American Studies from Stanford University.
