Mohammed Bin Mahfoodh Alardhi is the Executive Chairman of the global investment group, Investcorp, which operates out of New York, London, Riyadh, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Doha. Mr Alardhi was a Director on the Investcorp Board since 2008.
A retired Air Vice Marshal by profession, Mr Alardhi joined the Royal Air Force (RAFO) of Oman in 1978, and was subsequently appointed as Chief of Omani Air Force. In 2000, he was awarded the "Order of Oman" by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said.
Mr Alardhi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Military Science from Royal Air Force UK Staff College in Bracknell, England and a Masters in Public Policy from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University USA. He also graduated from the Royal Air Force Military Academy in Cranwell, UK, and the National Defence University in Washington D.C., USA.
Three months after taking up his role as Executive Chairman of Investcorp, Mr Alardhi announced a new growth strategy aiming to more than double its Assets Under Management (AUM) over the medium term. A number of initiatives were communicated in relation to this plan, namely tapping into European Real Estate markets, establishing a global distribution platform and inorganic growth.
During the first year of his chairmanship, Investcorp strengthened its institutional shareholders base by agreeing to sell 20% of interest in the company to Mubadala Development Company, the Abu Dhabi based investment and development company.
Most recently, and under Mr Alardhi’s mandate and new vision, the firm doubled its AUM to USD23 billion following its acquisition of 3i Debt Management Business.
Investcorp today specializes in offering multi-product alternative investments on a global scale. Its lines of business include Corporate Investment (investments in unquoted corporate entities), Alternative Investment Solutions (previously known as Hedge Funds), Real Estate and Credit Management.
Since Investcorp’s first deal in 1983, Investcorp’s brand has evolved from its home in the Gulf into a trusted and leading global provider and manager of alternative investment products. Investcorp’s journey began with many notable and high-profile acquisitions in corporate investments, including such luxury brands as Tiffany & Co., Saks Fifth Avenue, Gucci, Breguet and others, taking many of them mainstream and listing them on global stock exchanges. Its 381 staff is drawn from 35 nationalities.
Mr Alardhi regularly speaks on international trade, the relationship between the Middle East and the West and the security of the Gulf.
He is also the author of three books: "Arabs Down Under”, "Pearls from Arabia" and “Arabs Unseen”.

Mohammed Al-Shroogi is Investcorp’s Co-Chief Executive Officer, responsible for placement, investor’s relations and administration.
Over the course of a career that began more than four decades ago, Mohammed has built and nurtured a wide network of strategic business relationships across the Middle East and North Africa, spanning key regulators, central banks, financial institutions, corporates and senior government officials.
Mohammed joined Investcorp in 2009 as President of the Firm’s Gulf business. He oversaw the development of private equity investment business in the MENA and Turkey region and Investcorp is now the largest private equity investor in the Gulf. He also was instrumental in rebuilding the Placement and Relationship Management team after the financial crisis and this team is raising more capital in alternative investments than any other firm in the Gulf.
He was appointed Co-CEO in 2015, upon the founding Chief Executive Officer’s retirement. Since then Mohammed has been instrumental in a number of growth initiatives for the Firm. These include broadening the client base and deepening market share with a wider product offering like Core US real estate, club and co-investment private equity deals, and European real estate. He is also spearheading an initiative for distribution of Investcorp’s products in Asia.
Prior to joining Investcorp, Mohammed was Division Executive for the Middle East and North Africa region and CEO for the United Arab Emirates at Citigroup.
In addition to being Co- Chief Executive Officer of Investcorp, he currently serves as Chairman of L’azurde Company for Jewelry, a Saudi Joint Stock Company; Chairman of GCC Board Directors Institute (BDI); Member of the Board of Trustees for Bahrain Centre for Studies & Research; Member of National U.S. – Arab Chamber of Commerce, Washington D.C.; Member of the Board of Injaz Al Arab; and Board Member of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP).
Mohammed has been a member of the Bahrain Shura Council, Member of the Board of Trustees at Bahrain University and a member of the Bahrain Economic Development Board, as well as serving as Chairman of Investcorp Saudi Arabia Financial Investments Company.
Mohammed holds a BA in Commerce from Kuwait University and has attended the Harvard Management Executive Program.

Rishi Kapoor is Investcorp’s Co-Chief Executive Officer, responsible for overseeing the Firm’s investment activities across North America, Europe and the Middle East, covering Corporate Investments, Real Estate Investments, Alternative Investment Solutions and Credit Management. He chairs the Firm's Investment Committees across its different product lines, as well as the Firm's Financial Risk Management Committee.
Rishi joined Investcorp from Citigroup in 1992, and has held several positions at the Firm since then, including Chief Financial Officer from 2003 to 2015. During his tenure as Chief Financial Officer, Rishi spearheaded several public and private capital market transactions for Investcorp across global capital markets, including a listing of Investcorp's shares on the London Stock Exchange. Rishi was responsible for navigating the Firm through the Global Financial Crisis of 2008-09 through a timely and significant de-risking and de-leveraging of the balance sheet, raising additional capital, refinancing outstanding debt and arranging access to liquidity and capital on a revolving basis in support of the Firm's business model, thereby positioning Investcorp in a competitively advantageous position to recover and benefit from the opportunities coming out of the great recession.
He was appointed Co-Chief Executive Officer of Investcorp in 2015, upon the founding Chief Executive Officer’s retirement.
Rishi holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a Masters in Business Administration from Duke University.

Ramzi T. AbdelJaber is Investcorp’s Chief Administrative Officer, which sees him lead a range of functions including Corporate Development, Administration / Infrastructure, Human Resources, Executive Compensation and Technology. He is a member of the Firm’s Operating Committee and chairs the Internal Audit Council, Human Resources Council, and Technology Advisory Council.
He has more than twenty years of strategy, business building, and senior management experience, with a particular focus on the financial services sector.
Ramzi joined Investcorp in 2004. During his time at the Firm, Ramzi has held a number of leadership positions including Head of Business Development worldwide and Chief of Staff for the Placement and Relationship Management (PRM) function.
Prior to joining Investcorp, Ramzi was a consultant with McKinsey & Co.’s Silicon Valley Office in Palo Alto, CA. He has also worked with Accenture (Andersen Consulting) in the Middle East.
In addition to his position at Investcorp, Ramzi serves on the Regional Board of Directors of INJAZ Al Arab. He is also the Chairman of Investcorp Investments LLC (incorporated in the Qatar Financial Center). Formerly, he served on the Management Committee of the GCC Board Directors Institute and was part of Jordan’s E-government taskforce appointed by HM King Abdullah II of Jordan. Ramzi is a former Young Presidents' Organization member.
Ramzi holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also holds a B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems (with Honors and Highest Distinction) from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington.

Firas El Amine joined Investcorp in 2007 from Dubai Holding where he was the Corporate Communications Director. Prior to this, he worked with Alsalam Holding, Beirut as a Communications and Public Relations Director and with Impact & Echo, Kuwait as a Public Relations Director.
Firas holds a Masters degree in Political Science from Lebanese American University and a bachelors degree in Communication Arts from Beirut University College.

Dominic Elias joined Investcorp in 2010 as Director of Human Resources. Previously, he worked at the Blackstone Group and as a consultant at Towers Perrin where he focused on Alternative Investments client organizations. Dominic also worked at Morgan Stanley for 11 years, first in the Corporate Compensation group, before going on to manage the compensation function for the Investment Banking, Private Equity and Global Capital Markets Divisions.
Dominic holds a BSc from the University College of Swansea, UK and a Masters degree from Cornell University, New York.

Before he joined Investcorp in 2005, Sean Elliott was the Operations Director for Ernst and Young's Industrial and Commercial Office audit practice in London. Previously Sean worked at the international management consulting firm AT Kearney as Director of Operations and Recruiting Manager for Northern Europe.
Sean holds an MBA from The Open University Business School and a BSc in Zoology and Oceanography from the University of Wales, Swansea.

Shaun Hill joined Investcorp in 2004 as Head of Internal Audit. Prior to joining Investcorp, Shaun was the Chief Internal Auditor at Union National Bank in Abu Dhabi. Before then, he was a senior audit manager with Riyadh Bank in Saudi Arabia and previously a member of the internal audit team at American Express in the UK. Shaun has also been a senior manager with Deloitte & Touche.
Shaun holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and German from Staffordshire University and an MBA from Warwick University. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Shaun is also a CFA Charterholder.

Najib Rahal joined Investcorp in 2014 from Deloitte & Touche Middle East, where he was accountable for IT governance and strategy management. Prior to that, he worked with Accenture and Devoteam, both in France.
Najib holds a Bachelor in Computer and Communication Engineering from l'École supérieure d'ingénieurs en informatique et génie des télécommunications and Masters in Computer Networks both from Institut National de la Communication et de L'information.

Mufeed Rajab joined Investcorp in 2003 from JP Morgan Chase Bank where he worked for 24 years, 16 of which were spent in their Bahrain office as Vice President - head of operations, human resources, finance, technology and administration. The remaining eight years were spent in their Toronto office as Vice President - head of operations, technology and general administration.
Mufeed holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Statistics from the University of Karnataka, India and a Diploma in Banking Studies from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance.

Tony Robinson is Investcorp’s Chief Financial Officer. He is also a member of the Firm’s Operating Committee
Tony has over 35 years of corporate finance and professional accounting experience across Australia, the UK and Bahrain.
Tony joined Investcorp in 1994 as a senior manager in Financial Controls and became Investcorp’s Chief Internal Auditor in 1998. In his capacity as Group Financial Controller (2004-2008), Tony led a team of finance professionals across three geographic locations (London, New York and Bahrain).
Tony rejoined Investcorp in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer, from Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Co. where he managed the investment support and coordination team before becoming Mumtalakat’s Chief Financial Officer from 2012. As Investcorp’s Chief Financial Officer, Tony’s responsibilities include financial control and reporting, balance sheet management, investment administration, corporate accounting, group treasury support and operations.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Business in accounting from the Western Australia Institute of Technology and a Master of Taxation from Curtin University, Australia. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
